How It Works
West Virginia Mountaineers vs Oklahoma State Cowboys — November 26, 2022
24–19
About This Game
On a cold, rainy afternoon in Stillwater, West Virginia's ground game overwhelmed Oklahoma State's defense in a battle fought through brutal November weather. After Garrett Greene's 36-yard touchdown run gave the Mountaineers an early lead, Oklahoma State answered back to take a 10-7 advantage. But the third quarter became the turning point. Jaylen Anderson, a redshirt freshman who had largely remained in the shadows, burst through for two explosive touchdown runs—54 and 57 yards—within a three-minute stretch that shifted momentum decisively westward to 21-10. Oklahoma State refused to surrender quietly, with Ollie Gordon's 23-yard touchdown run cutting it to 21-19, but West Virginia's defense held the line in a tense final quarter as Casey Legg's 34-yard field goal sealed a 24-19 victory. The win snapped a seven-game losing streak for the Mountaineers and ended Oklahoma State's 14-game home winning streak. West Virginia's rushing attack—250 yards in conditions that tested every player's resolve—proved the difference on a day when only the committed showed up in Stillwater. Relive every drive of this weather-beaten Big 12 clash with a custom Gameprint wall art visualization.
